How to Juggle Work Dynamics, Homeschooling, and Parenting for Busy Moms

With the realities of today's economy, many homeschool mom's find themselves having to wrestle with the dynamics of nurturing and educating their children, in conflict with other responsibilities that seem to compete for their attention. Whether you work at a home-based business, volunteer for an organization or are employed outside the home, this session is for you as we talk with our guest panelists, exploring work dynamics, homeschooling, and parenting for busy moms.

Our guest panel includes:

Pamela Agar is a homeschool mom of four from Saskatchewan, who lives on a homestead with her multi-generational family, where she also helps manage the family business. Holding a Masters in Social Work (MSW), she works part-time supporting autistic children and their families. In addition to her professional and homeschooling roles, Pamela served as both Journal Editor and President for the Saskatchewan Home-Based Educators (SHBE) during her two-year tenure.

Gillian Smith - wife of one, mother of five. Together, Gillian and her husband run a small regenerative farm in NW Saskatchewan. They started home educating formally when their oldest daughter was five and haven’t looked back. Today their oldest two have moved forward with their adult plans while the others continue to home educate, currently in grades 11, 8, and 3. Gillian is fully convinced that homeschooling is possible for anyone who has the desire! Gillian also served on the Saskatchewan Home-Based Educators board (SHBE) for a number of years
