Awning Terrible Crashing Closed Noise Reduced With Packing Foam and 4 Pull Ties. SunFlower In Place.

This automatic awning thing made a terrible crashing noise when closed as the two arms just bang into the mounting bar. Got some packing foam and some pull ties and it made it much better. One can stop the awning before the crashing noise but this just makes is better and you don't need to stand and watch it and I'm sure it's better to have a soft landing for the arms. I'm sure the neighbors are happy to not hear that noise anymore either.
