When Windows Picks Favorites...

Windows is funky and AMD on Windows 11 has been even funkier.

Zen 5 CPUs launched and it has been rough- most everything was very underwhelming. Also, data was conflicting between AMD themselves and reviewers which lead to some interesting discoveries... that didn't change Zen 5, but made a realization that Windows has some issues with AMD CPUs. So, I tested it. 3 versions: Current Windows 11 (23H2) with and w/o the branch prediction patch, and the Windows 11 24H2 Preview Build. I did this on 3 different CPUs: an R9 5900x, R7 7800x3D, and i7 13700k- to get a wide variety of how this performs. THE RESULTS ARE WILD.

How long has Microsoft known this? Are they trying to hide that performance has been worse? Is Windows picking favorites???
