Disney has officially put the MCU's Blade movie on the shelf indefinitely after years of stringing Mahershala Ali along as the lead the character. Even after the success of Wesley Snipes reprising his role as the character in Deadpool and Wolverine, the studio still couldn't get a working script off the ground.
