Kubrick’s Dr Strangelove Analyzed | Who’s In A Bunker? | US (Above) & ‘They’ (Below)

Tonight I’d like to use Stanley Kubrick’s Dr Strangelove to discuss the politics of those who can go underground into bunkers vs those who are more or less ‘stuck with’ having to stay above-ground in the event of a catastrophic disaster. In the case of this film...produced during the Cold War era & directed by Stanley Kubrick…there is significant discussion in the military war room about going ‘underground’ with the intention of ‘allowing’ a nuclear disaster to occur above ground. This plan is sold to the military by a ‘former’ Nazi military advisor who is clearly a parody of a Paperclip import ala Wernher Von Braun…as he can’t stop referring to the president as Mein Furher & Sieg Heils like a spastic tic…in other words…Kubrick clearly understood back then that our country was being advised by the Nazi party who had simply pretended to change sides to America.

The point I’m making is that this film discusses what is likely being propositioned by these same Nazi Paperclip bloodlines who are heavy in the ranks of the CIA who constantly advise the State Department and Military on foreign military policy…or what to do in the event that we are attacked by a nuclear power.

After you watch this film…I hope you are asking yourself this question…

Is some entity doing this badly on purpose because someone like Strangelove has ‘in reality’ devised a plan to trigger nuclear war in order for ‘them’ to go underground while we above ground are left with nuclear fallout?

Can you understand what I’m saying? If they are militarily boxed in by 3 major nuclear powers…isn’t it realist to assume that some are just trying to do it badly on purpose to ‘get it over with’? Many are already underground, advising our military and state department to do it ‘badly on purpose’…perhaps this film will explain why things are as ridiculous as they are with our leadership.

The consequences aren’t the same for ‘them’…they have an underground plan…do you?
