What is the Synagogue of Satan?

In this episode, Jack discusses 2 verses from the book of Revelation which both talk about people who claim to be Jews, but whom are not. It also refers to them as the synagogue of Satan. Though these verses were meant to discuss specific events transpiring in and around two churches, Jack looks to see if these verses have any meaning today. Who are the people who call themselves jews, but who are not? What does the synagogue of Satan have to do with these people?
