He Who Lives by the Sword

Contrary to common belief, Jesus never said this, nor is it recorded in scripture. Jesus said, "He who takes up the sword, shall die with his sword," quite a different concept. The same is true of nations. A nation that rules people strictly by force, by the sword, so to speak, will die by its own plots, blackmail, violence, lies, and miscalculations.
