The Mouse on the Mayflower is a Rankin/Bass Thanksgiving special that premiered on NBC on November 23, 1968. The special was narrated by Tennessee Ernie Ford as the voice of William, a pilgrim mouse, and also featured Eddie Albert. William, a church mouse in present-day, tells the viewers that there is more to Thanksgiving than the big feats associated with the holiday.
