Ohio Republican Senate candidate Bernie Moreno says getting East Palestine back on its feet after the 2023 toxic train derailment starts by supporting coal and natural gas operations in the area. “We have to have economic development there. That means having an economy that’s driven by good energy policy. You know East Palestine is very close to a natural gas reserve that could be transformative to that community,” he says.
