In this livestream I’ll be reacting to and providing live commentary to statements made by Baton Rouge Pastor Donnie Swaggart and the subsequent response from prominent Black preachers Freddie Haynes and Jamal Bryant. Swaggart recently made public statements directed toward and about the head of one of the largest Black American denominations in the Unites States for his public endorsement of Kamala Harris for President. When we examine statements made by Swaggart, was he wrong? And what about the response from Black pastors? How should believers engage with and respond to such rebuke?
