US polling problems: Voting officials in Georgia face rising threats

Threats against US poll workers are on the rise. Since 2020, the National Conference of State Legislatures says 17 states and Washington, DC, have increased protections for election workers and officials.

Nowhere is the threat worse than Georgia, the center of a 2020 effort to overturn the US presidential election.
