Metroid: Zero Mission - #1 - So a bounty hunter walks into a bar...

Metroid Zero Mission is a 2004 remake based of the original Metroid game released back in 1987.

It's chronologically the first game in the Metroid series. Sure, we COULD play the NES original. And eventually, we will! But that game always drove me into the dirt when I was a kid. The remake gives us some extra bells and whistles that won't make the experience brutal.

Metroid wasn't a series I liked until I got older. I thought it was too slow and boring. Now I realize just how atmospheric it is. In recent years, it's been nice to see it get some love.

It's here on Nintendo Switch Online, so let's play it.
