Building the Allianz Riverfront Amphitheater: Foundation, History, and Progress Update

Catch a glimpse of how it all began back in February! The Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront project near Brown’s Island in Richmond VA kicked off with foundational groundwork, setting the stage for the exciting build ahead.

This early stage laid the groundwork for the foundation, transforming the historic Tredegar Iron Company site (now part of the American Civil War Museum) into an amazing venue.

From excavation and drainage systems to stage construction and foundational support using ram aggregate piers, it’s incredible to see how much progress has been made.
