Accusing Spirits

Accusing spirits operate in the thought realm, which is the greatest battleground for spiritual warfare. Their mission is to accuse God of wrongdoing, to accuse others of real or imagined offenses, and to accuse and condemn us, saying that we do not measure up to some real or imagined standard.
The work of accusing spirits can be summarized in this way: They want us to lose God consciousness and focus on self-consciousness. To accomplish this, they try to hold us to the past, because that is the only grounds for their accusations. We can fear what might happen, but we cannot be accused of something that has not yet happened.
