Quantum Computer Terrifies Scientists After Something Weird Is Happening
Although there have been many disruptive tech pairings in the past, such as cellphones and wireless internet, quantum computing and artificial intelligence have the potential to be the most disruptive of all. Emerging technologies have gained popularity in recent years. Of all of them, quantum computing has the most potential to fundamentally alter our environment. The most revolutionary technology of our time is undoubtedly quantum computing, possibly even more so than artificial intelligence, the cloud, or even the internet. A few hundred logical qubits can perform more efficiently than any conventional computer, even if every atom in the universe was employed for computation. This is the nearly unbelievable power of quantum computing. Specifically, many AI applications could have their effects—both positive and negative—amplified by quantum computing.
