Tips on Reusing Canning Lids, Jar, and Bands

Let's break some "rules". I have ALWAYS, ever since I began canning around 20 years ago, reused my canning lids. I did this for YEARS before I "learned you weren't supposed to." I never heard of it before; I mean why couldn't they be reused, it never seemed to be a problem so why question it? When I began canning and therefore reusing my lids, I came up with my own common sense "rules" or things I would look for when choosing whether or not to reuse a lid. I am sharing my tips with you on this video.
