Living Like a Local in Terlingua, Texas (Secrets in the Desert)

Living like a local in Terlingua, Texas while wintering here in our truck camper. We have made new friends who show us some secrets in the desert only the locals know about. Still camping at the Travelers Rv park. Our friend Pollo picks us up to meet Lindsay to take us to the pterodactyl. A guy built it out of an old oil pump. After that we explore an abandon mercury mine. We end the evening eating at DB's BBQ. The next day we stop at the local general store on our way into Big Bend Park. Once in the park we hike the Boquillas Canyon trail. We set up camp in the Rio Grande Village campground and chill for the evening while Kellie cooks Mexican quinoa casserole.
