The vast majority of legacy fake news outlets refuse to interview Professor Clements "on the record" based on two stipulations: (1) the interview must be video recorded and (2) the interview can be published in its entirety to ensure context and to curb propaganda-like editorialization.

It came as a welcome surprise that Benjamin Wittes, Editor-in-Chief at "Lawfare" and longtime contributor to the Washington Post, agreed to Clements' conditions.
