ucker Carlson’s Encounter with Evil: What Left Him with Claw Marks and an Urge to Read the Bible?

When asked if he thinks "the presence of evil is prompting people to explore the good" side of spirituality, Tucker Carlson responded, "That’s exactly what happened to me."

Tucker shared that he "had a direct experience" with evil one night while in bed.

"I was attacked while asleep, with my wife and our four dogs in bed. It felt like I was physically mauled... by something unseen, maybe a demon, which left claw marks on my sides," he described.

Referring to the scratches, he said, "They're still there, from a year and a half ago. I woke up unable to breathe, thinking I might suffocate, so I went outside. When I came back in, my wife and dogs, who are light sleepers, hadn't woken up."

He continued, "Later, I felt intense pain on my ribs and shoulder. I found four claw marks on each side, under my arms and on my left shoulder, and they were bleeding. Real claw marks, and I sleep on my side, so it wasn’t self-inflicted. My nails are short and wouldn’t have matched the marks anyway."

Though he didn’t have a strong religious background, Tucker said he instantly recognized that the experience had a spiritual dimension.

Initially wondering if he had been dreaming, he discovered blood on his sheets the next morning and realized the incident had been real.

Following this unsettling experience, Tucker felt “an intense urge to read the Bible,” which he did consistently for the next year and a half.
