BALLOTS, BIBLES and BELIEVERS

This year, 2024, has more elections and voting taking place around the world than at any other time in recorded history.

This year, no matter where you live and vote, it is not about “left” or “right” political parties, it is about “good” versus “evil” and which one will rule over us.

Proverbs 11:10 and Proverbs 28:10-12 declare that, “when the righteous succeed, the people rejoice, and when the wicked perish the city rejoices and there are shouts of joy”.

We will not tell you “who” to vote for, but we will teach you to vote for the values that you believe in.

If you profess to be a Christian, if you truly believe, then the Bible says that we are citizens of Heaven and as sojourners, strangers in this land, and that we are also citizens of the countries that we live in.

Along with citizenship come responsibilities. And along with responsibilities comes privileges.

We, as spiritual leaders and pastors, are here to teach you what God says is right and what God says is sin. We are here to teach you what honors God and what brings dishonor to a nation.

It is your responsibility to act accordingly and responsibly.

Sin takes no prisoners. Leaders who live in sin and who perpetuate the concepts of sin, will destroy a nation.

It is your responsibility to not only cast your votes and let your voices be heard, but it is your responsibility to pray and seek the Lord for His choices in all matters of importance, including personal, familial, local, regional and national importance.

To that end, we encourage you to follow the Spirit of God as you prayerfully commit your vote and support to those candidates that most closely represent what you have been taught.

Many of you have already sent in your ballots. Now, it is time to cover those ballots with fervent prayer to protect them and to ensure that they are accurately and honestly received and counted.
