Reeves dive into IDPOL

One of the most frustrating parts of Rachel Reeves' budget statement was her dive into identity politics. Proud to be the first female Chancellor, she said she has a responsibility to create a fairer society for future women. But her duty is to ALL citizens—men and women alike.

Her focus on identity ignores the realities faced by working-class families. Instead of uplifting everyone, her policies have made life harder for many while benefiting the wealthy elite. Identity politics can't mask the economic oppression inflicted by neoliberalism. It's time to prioritize the needs of the many, not just a select few.
