Showa American Story is an RPG developed by indie studio NEKCOM Games, with its Steam release set to be published by 2P Games. Blending 80s' pop culture with B-movie flair, this action-packed game follows Chouko, a teenage girl mysteriously resurrected after a global disaster. Set in a post-apocalyptic America under Japanese cultural influence, players join Chouko on a quest for truth and revenge, battling challenges and encountering a cast of unique characters across a transformed United States. The game is still in development, with footage showcasing its early stages, promising an immersive experience in a richly imagined, alternate history.
