The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt | Romance in the gardens, killing monsters, and slaying vampires

Gameplay Part 8 of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt...

Time for some juicy side quests! Geralt heads back to Novigrad to give Rosa some more fencing lessons, Here we learn she is just crazy and ends up getting into trouble where Geralt has to kill some thugs for her.
Geralt heads over to Triss's hideout to help her with a request from Lady Ingrid Vegelbud to help sneak her son Albert Vegelbud out of the city for a his recent interest in alchemy. You both head to their famous masquerade party, where some romantic encounters happen between Triss and Geralt before everyone gets drunk enough that you can sneak Albert out of the party and escape on horse back (after dealing with some witch hunters in a garden maze of course).
Geralt now heads out to the Redania area to help King Radovid seach for clues on the whereabouts of Philippa Eilhart. He meets some witch hunters outside the caves before going in himself. He has to kill some monsters while he navigates the caves by activating portals. Eventually he encounters a Ifrit, which starts a boss battle. After some intense combat, Geralt finds Philippa's secret room and uncovers a crystal from a megascope. Once Geralt backtracks and exits the caves the witch hunters want information, Geralt lies about what he found and thus has to kill the hunters. Geralt decides to keep the megascope and bring it to Yennifer to uncover more information before going back to Radovid.
Now back in Novigrad, Triss needs help getting the rest of the mages in the city to escape. Geralt reluctantly helps. They go to the Kingfisher Inn and meet with the mages (two of which you let die) and Reuven, before going into the sewers to clear a path for everyone to escape through. After navigating the sewers, Triss and Geralt encounter a Katakan vampire which they have to kill with the help of the Yrden sign. After this battle they escape out to the docks where Reuven is waiting with a ship. You kill a few more with hunters before everyone embarks off. Geralt tries to get Triss to stay but she refuses and leaves (no more romance for her!)
