Generac 16kW generator - first start after valve adjustment

This video shows the first startup of our 16kW NG Generac generator (model 0052540, serial 4643547) after adjusting the valves. The exhaust valves were tight (no lash clearance, basically), so I adjusted them to 0.003" and also set the intake valves to 0.003". The spark plugs were also checked, but their gaps were pretty much right at 0.040".
Earlier, I had replaced the stepper motor/controller and set the choke plate return spring arm in its proper location in order to fix an Overspeed and Hard Starting problem with the generator. The generator would start, but it was still struggling (see this video for comparison: https://rumble.com/v5l65gw-generac-16kw-generator-startup-after-stepper-motor-and-choke-plate-repairs.html ), but after also adjusting the valves you can see that the generator start so much easier!
