In this heart rendering episode Skip talks about his relationship with Laura Hippe, actress and scientologist. He speaks to the hypocrisy of Scientology and its "ethics" programs.

He talks about Laura's addiction to alcohol and diet pills and how she tried to kill herself many times when her boyfriends tried to leave her.

He talks about one suicide attempt when he was with her in which she should have been Baker Acted for 72 hours but because her situation required psychiatric intervention, she would have been banished from Scientology, so she "acted" her way out of the situation by saying she made a mistake and thought she was taking medication and didn't mean to kill herself.

She subsequently was sent to Narconon, a Scientology organization, HQ in Hollywood, CA., a scientology front group that offered no help for drug recovery, and is touted as medically unsafe methodologies, and outright quackery and medical fraud.

Laura Hippe ultimately did succeed in killing herself.
