REACH FOR THAT BROOM!!!

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYBODY!!!

You know guys, there's something about this passage of scripture that always gets me. What gets me about this passage of scripture is that we see a group of men and women more than likely, who all wanted to be chiefs, but weren't willing to be Indians. As I read this passage of scripture, I thought deeply about what it means to serve, not just in one's local church, but in one's own community, and this really has touched it and challenged my heart. I want to serve the Lord through my church family, but I asked myself who is my church family? I believe, based on a lot of what I have been reading in God's word, as well as prayer, that once church family isn't confined to a building, but it's every believer out there. It's also every person out there, and that's who I want to serve.

That's why, tonight, my friends, I want to share some things that God showed me from this passage of scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you challenges your heart to want to be a servant to others, by being willing to reach for that broom and use it. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they will encourage and motivate you to want to serve, in any and every way possible.

In what ways can you serve your church family?

When will you start?

I challenge you tonight, to think about ways that you could serve your “church family”, grab that broom, and use it. I want to state right now guys, that I believe once church family doesn't merely consist of what's within a building, but I believe it consists of every believer out there, that you can be of help to, to encourage, challenge, strengthen, and lift them up during whatever time of need they may be. How about finding out ways that you can help out not just in your church, but how about with the hurricane relief efforts that are going on right now? You don't need to specifically help out within a building, but you can help out. All you need to do, is reach for that broom and start using it.
