November is the month of the Holy Souls. Learn about ghostly visitations to earth from souls in the afterlife, a fascinating little museum in the heart of Rome dedicated to them, and what you can do to help these souls find peace.

Obtain a plenary indulgence for a holy soul Nov. 1-8:
1) Pray at a cemetery for the holy souls
2) Pray for the pope
3) Go to confession within 20 days of your visit
4) Receive Holy Communion on the day of the visit
5) Have no attachment to sin

If you can't receive Holy Communion, you may still obtain a partial indulgence by doing the above.
