#134 – Patriot Grandmas

Recently we got the news from BARNA Research that up to 41 million Christians are likely to sit out this election cycle.
And here’s the detail for how they justify this decision:
·     68% said they aren’t interested in politics
·     57% said they disliked both candidates
·     52% said their vote won’t make a difference

When godly people “sit it out”, godless people “step in.”

Personally, I believe that is passive rebellion against God – a complete abdication of our responsibility to do everything you can to be SALT and LIGHT and slow the decay of culture...
 
But every now and again we get inspired by someone or a group of someone’s who get it and are willing to do whatever it takes to be salt and light to save the greatest nation the world has ever seen.

Meet Sharron Penny.

Sharron is a modern day hero and she is the leader of Patriot Grandmas out of Colorado. She isn’t “sitting it out” in any respect. Instead, she’s engaging her community at a local level and with others in her circle praying for God's hand on this country.
