....last garden update this year....02/11/24

....we've not got loads going on this late in the year, but I thought I'd just show you around....
Starting in the polytunnel, cleared out all the old tomato plants, and started some garlic and onions for next year, garlic doing well and onions just started to sprout....we've got a couple of beds covered until next spring, havn't decided what's going where yet....the broccoli is making a comeback, after being savaged by caterpillars, also cabbage (still small) and kale doing great....some spinach in the middle we are still using and more broccoli recovering at the end....up to the van, quick slurp of tea and and around to the kitchen garden....some random garlic has come up, more spinach, green onions, leeks and still plenty of mint....in the baths, there are leeks, carrots and a few onions left....not much going on in the greenhouse, all ready for clearing out soon....chard and tree spinach around the back has died back now and the bed is ready to clear out....rhubarb died back in the fruit garden, the little (unknown) bush looking great and still leaves on the little apple tree....last of the peppers in the little greenhouse, parsnips around the back, and the butternut squash has finished too....up the hill to the new leek bed and a look around the field....that's all for this year folks, will upload more videos, starting next spring....
