Christ used the analogy of the Kingdom of God to a mustard seed. He said that it is the smallest of all seeds, but when sown, it grows and becomes larger than all other vegetables, putting out great branches in which the birds nest in its shade. This analogy illustrates how the Kingdom of God, although humble in its beginning, has the potential for great growth and influence.
