Stefan Passantino explains how he was targeted by the J6 Committee
The controversy surrounding Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony to the January 6th Committee involves her former attorney, Stefan Passantino. While Passantino represented her, Hutchinson allegedly met secretly with Rep. Liz Cheney. After switching to new counsel, Jody Hunt, Hutchinson changed her testimony and claimed Passantino had told her to lie.
In response to these allegations, associates of Hutchinson provided text messages to CNN in which she had expressed that Passantino was advising her to be truthful. Despite receiving this potentially exculpatory evidence, CNN later published a critical report about Passantino without including information about these messages. To be clear Passantino confronted CNN about the text messages before the story ran. He was told that the messages were'nt newsworthy.
To gain a complete understanding of the situation, watch the entire Tucker Carlson interview with Stefan Passantino.
