What Does God REALLY Think About Our Election?

In the Bible, God expresses clear principles regarding leadership, authority, and His care for His people, regardless of who holds political office. Here are some scriptures on these themes:

God Appoints Leaders: “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.” (Romans 13:1) God’s sovereignty means He allows leaders to come into power according to His purposes, even when they may not appear to be righteous by human standards.

Righteous Leaders Bring Blessing: “When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.” (Proverbs 29:2) Scripture shows that the people thrive under righteous leaders, as they bring justice, peace, and prosperity.
