Americans ‘disillusioned’ about direction of the nation

Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says Americans on the streets feel as if their “spending power” has gone “backwards”.

“The reality is that many people are disillusioned about where America is going,” Mr Greenwood told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“Democrats are saying America’s economy is strong. When you are on the streets, when you are talking to the people, they are saying ‘hey, it might be strong, we are not feeling strong, we are feeling as though, our spending power has gone backwards’.”
