Testing at the Missile Base Trails

I built two Bruder toys into working R/C crawlers and went out to test them on my nearby trails.

I cut away all the underside of the 1/16 German made Bruder toy Jeep manufactured in 2005. I opened up the area behind the seats to fit the long shocks and to keep the battery in the center.
I extended the longest control arms I could find with brass hex standoffs. They helped to keep the weight low for the hardbody.
