Don't Let The World Rub Off on You, Temptations Abound

We live in a sick world and it is getting sicker every day, don't let any of this filth rub off on You?

Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Jas 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience.

Don't get side tracked, go right through the temptation?

Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Walk through a temptation and you will be blessed, and The Crown of Life will be waiting for you at The gates of Heaven?

Jas 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

Slow down and think before you speak, Military Slogan; “Put your brain in gear before you put your mouth in motion” This will save you a lot of grief.

Jas 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

If you read The Bible, listen to a sermon and don't apply it to your life, you are deceived, these are the “Depart from Me I never knew you” people

Jas 1:25 But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Applying Gods word to your life, making the necessary corrections, God will bless you, this is a conformation of your faith.

Jas 1:27 Pure religion and UN-defiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself UN-spotted from the world.

Helping the poor is something every Christian must be involved in, it is a command not a choice.

Do not let the world rub off on you, watch your posts on social media, watch your language, You are a “Child of Light” be different.
