She had surgery, but was afraid to undergo chemotherapy and radiation after watching several friends and relatives succumb not to cancer, but complications from cancer treatment. Despite laboratory evidence of circulating cancer cells in her blood after surgery, she and her husband embarked on a courageous path of detoxification, emotional modulation and exercise.
