Servant of God Fr. Domenico Da Cese, O.F.M.

Domenico da Cese was a priest and Cappuchin friar. He showed signs of a special gift from a young age, correctly predicting an impending earthquake on the day of its occurrence at the age of nine. After becoming a priest in October of 1931, he would eventually travel to San Giovanni and become a close friend of Pio of Pietrelcina, known popularly as Padre Pio. Some years later, he would have his first contact with the Shroud of the Holy Face of Manoppello, eventually committing to sharing the devotion of that Holy Face with as many people as possible.
