Hold to Hope

Regardless of how you feel about the outcome of America's election today, this is a reminder all believers need to hear.

🇺🇲 The determination of our nation's success or downfall does not rest in the hands of any man or woman - and neither is the joy of our soul to be affected by such earthly matters.

✝️ Our lives and country rest solely in the hands of God, the Creator and Sustainer of all creation. He is the One on the throne forever. Men come and go and emotions fluctuate like the wind, but our eternal hope should remain anchored in the God of our Salvation. He is the only One capable of redemption and judgement, and raises to power those who He pleases.

🙏 Our job is the same as it's always been: hold fast to the Lord and pray for those in authority to follow His guidance and make decisions that honor and glorify Him above all else.
