As famously quoted and gracefully displayed, Jesus proclaimed 2000 years ago that a house divided cannot stand (Mark 3:25). Where do we see this first? From the poet David as he declares in Psalm 12:10 there is nothing more beautiful than when two brothers dwell in unity... how absolutely powerful of a reminder is this? Not only those in government positions, but within our walk as Christians every day! We all know that conflicts will arise and conversations may become heated but what really matters is, what we do when anger or strife begins to rise in our households, families, governments, & every sphere life? Will we walk in love or hold onto bitter anger or unforgiveness someone might have stirred in us? What does Jesus say about loving our enemies or even loving those who persecute us... perhaps it's simply loving the sibling who is getting on your nerves about to make you break!! Well, in Him, we find all answers, beautifully sound and in perfect harmony- for God has called us not to become divided, but to rise as sons & daughters, standing in such a day as this.
