Original song about the Maranga Hotel in Darwin Northern Territory Australia. The Maranga held rough and ready entertainment on Thursday nights with publican George Gameson as host. There was a band playing and Darwin Stubby drinking competitions, female boxing and wrestling matches and a wild crowd. Sadly I heard George has passed while in Bali. Gary Crockett Copyright©.
