Mike Davis: Judge Merchan should declare mistrial in Trump hush money case

Article III Founder and President Mike Davis says Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan should declare a mistrial and dismiss the New York hush money case against President-elect Donald Trump. “If he doesn’t, if he proceeds to sentencing on November 26, I hope Judge Merchan is not reckless or crazy enough to think that he’s going to send the President-elect of the United States to Rikers Island,” he says. “Because the Supreme Court of the United States will step in immediately and stop that."
