The marines of the Sever Group of Forces successfully fight against the Ukrainian armed formations in the border area of Kursk region, approaching the state border on a daily basis.

In one of the zones, a marine brigades ambushed AFU militants to defeat their positions along with the NATO-made hardware.

As the marines say, the enemy did not expect such a heavy response. After unsuccessful direct attacks, the militants were taken by surprise. The marines were able to take advantageous positions to further control the movements and destroy light and heavy hardware of the AFU.

As a result of the battle, the personnel of the brigade captured Western-made weapons, flags and personal items of the militants. The enemy leaves behind killed and wounded comrades at their positions when retreating. Seeing that they will no longer return to this territory, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are mining several areas of the terrain.
