Why does God feel the need to demonstrate His wrath? What's the purpose behind that?

Well according to the scriptures, it is to show that God has sovereignty over all things including any of His creation that rebel against His authority. It is to reveal that He is the Almighty.

In what way then did God determine to do this and what does it look like in our lives?
