While this legislation is promoted as enhancing the Alberta Bill of Rights by recognizing rights like Firearms, Property, and Freedom of Expression, the use of terms like "Reasonable Limits" and "Due Process of Law" could potentially strip away these same freedoms, particularly during future health crises.

Currently, Bill 24 is under review in the Alberta Legislature, which is on break this week but will reconvene the week of November 18th. We are encouraging a large-scale protest to oppose Bill 24 during that time.
