Discerning True Prophets

There is the gift of prophecy, and then there is the office of a prophet, they are not the same thing.
There are many today who call themselves prophet, Just what is a prophet? It is someone who has been called by God and placed in the office by the Holy Spirit at His will.
For any others who go to a school, and do not have the call of the Holy Spirit, the question needs to be asked, has the Holy Spirit called you?
