Planck's Constant is the Quantum of Energy and NOT "Quantum of Action"

In this video I demonstrate FractalWoman's Modified Unit Analysis (MUA) and show that Planck's relation in Quantum Mechanics is unbalanced and leads to the misguided notion of "photons". Planck's energy-frequency formula relates the frequency of light to its energy via the Planck constant. In the International Standard (SI) system, the units for Planck's constant is joules * second, while that for the frequency is 1/second. Multiplying them results in the units joules * 1 and is a confusing result since there is an unbalanced "1" remaining.

In MUA, the unit of cycle is enforced throughout and never ignored or replaced by the number 1. This yields the Planck constant with the units Joules * second / cycle, or in other words: the energy of 1 cycle multiplied by 1 second. This reveals that Planck's constant has an arbitrary 1 second term. Decoupling this second or time term yields the new modified Planck's constant as simply the energy of 1 cycle or wavelength. This can be viewed as the Quantum of Energy by which all light is made up with. Higher frequency light has more energy simply because it has more quantum of energy. Higher frequency light also has a higher intensity since a detector would experience the same quantum of energy in a smaller area for a shorter time period.

In contrast, the conventional Planck relation leads to the notion of light being made up of an infinite number of different quanta of energy called "photons". For every frequency of light, there is a different quantum of energy. This results in a very confusing notion of light and reality; a notion which I view as being incorrect.
