Maddow, Trump & Elias: Voters & Voting

Someone called my attention to a video back in July of Rachel Maddow saying Trump was instructing people not to vote, saying that voting didn't matter, that he didn't need votes, etc. I decided to address this because Maddow also references Marc Elias (as a reputable source!)
The story about what Marc Elias' law group did in 2022 against the NC Green Party, against candidate Matt Hoh & against the voters of NC was covered on many independent media outlets at the time. It was a campaign of voter suppression and voter intimidation orchestrated by a Democratic Party operative. In the end, Matt Hoh & his supporters fought back & won. For more info on that story go to

This compilation of clips (& a little commentary/explanation) is a bit choppy because I switched the clips around, deciding to play the Trump clips first so you can hear what Trump said when it wasn't edited & taken out of context and then I played the Maddow clip.
