The Politics of Fleet Budgets

For fleets that operate out of a general fund, billing and costs become even more challenging. As Marc Canton, RTA’s head of product & consulting, points out, fleets only have so much budget, and often end up getting stuck being the bad guy and having to decide which department gets new vehicles, and which have to make do.

Josh Turley, RTA CEO, adds that, due to the politics involved, it turns fleets from being a partner, into an adversary.
