The Superman trailer may be closer than ever to being released, as a new major DC Universe update teases what its latest status is right now. It has nearly been a year since the DCEU movie timeline came to its end, and DC Studios' new DC Universe franchise is only a month away from starting, with Creature Commandos debuting on Max in early December. However, on the film side of the DC Universe, fans are eagerly waiting for more updates about the first Superman footage, and it appears that things are moving in the right direction for the movie.

While the Superman movie isn't coming out for several more months, a fan recently asked Gunn on Threads "When is the Superman trailer coming out? Because I am seeing Captain America Brave New World trailer, Thunderbolts trailer, Peacemaker Season 2 first look and now Mission Impossible Final Reckoning trailer and I'm like where is the Superman trailer at?" It didn't take long for Gunn to give a response, as the filmmaker shared the following update on what is going on with the Superman trailer: It’s on my hard drive. But, seriously, all three of those projects come out months before us.
