What does it mean to give up everything for Christ?
In a world that teaches us to cling to our rights
-comfort, control, and personal security--what
happens when we let go? Can we embrace a life
that forfeits comfort for the Gospel's mission? Are
we willing to give up control over our health, privacy,
and time to serve others in need? What does love
look like when we sacrifice a 'normal romance or
home life for missions? Can we trust God's plan for
our relationships, even when we give up the right to
choose our companions? What about our desire to
feel superior or take charge-can we surrender that to
Christ and follow His humble path? Most importantly,
are we ready to follow the Apostle Paul's example,
who gave up all personal rights for God's mission?
